Now more than ever You have the opportunity to be irrational, You won't have to think and rethink about your actions, just follow the first impulse in a non sensible way. (I'm not talking about anything but fashion, am I?)
There are two trends that bring back the idealized world of childhood.
Boy Scouts and Baby dolls.

It was in 1762 when Jean-Jacques Rousseau published "L'Emile", this book raises political and philosophical questions about the individual's relationship with society, and how nature is the source of his goodness. L'Emile helped to develop a system of education who brought Children and nature together. It had an involuntary impact in fashion later on children's wear would no longer had to be imitating adults garments in smaller sizes, and allow kids to have more freedom in their movements.

Try to combine sporty garments with more tailored ones or more refined fabrics, remember Scouting was created in the U.K so we should aport this English feeling in order to have the real look.

You don't have to renew all your closet and expend a fortune, Military insignias are one of the keys to succeed with this look. Colours are also very handy and helpful as well, go for beige, military green and grey.

Baby dolls
Since forever little girls have always tried to imitate their mothers. Playing with dolls, has been the most common game among the female gender. It is in our nature to be in charge of someone, to protect, to love... to care.
Dresses and skirts are the most easy garments to wear, they allow the body to move at its ease. They are also preferred by girls because it recalls the femininity they will reach when they become adults.
Baby dolls dresses try to bring all the naiveness that kids have, to make a person posses the best children's qualities: Purity, honesty and Optimism.

Whenever I see in the street some kid wearing black, brown or dark purple colours I always happen to have the same thought "pour thing". Pastels or bright colours are the only ones children should wear. For this summer if you want to have a baby doll look please avoid those three colours, they should be forbidden!

The key accessory for this little girl look will be bows, wear them wherever, they aren't a decoration for the hair only. I will advise you to buy ribbons and make them yourself, as whenever I find some very cute ribbon in a shop, the price insanely high for such a little piece of fabric.

Last tip: have fun, play, laugh and play!
